Hello, my name is Dipper Pines. Now I know what you might be thinking. “Wow, this Dipper guy sounds manly already!” Well you would not believe all the crazy things I've been through. See, it all started when my mom and dad decided that me and my twin sister, Mabel should stay with our great uncle Stan for the summer. Of course, we just call him Gruncle Stan. Anyways, we were taken to a place called Gravity Falls. There, I found a journal that talked about all these crazy supernatural things that wander around. As if the town wasn't weird enough.
All my adventures started with that journal. Ever since I got my hands on that journal, I've had to fight gnomes, zombies, psycho dating sim characters, confused psycho fighting game characters, and even ghosts. I've had to deal with all that and more while I was there, but it wasn't all bad.
Me and Mabel got to meet new friends and got to know them and junk. People like Wendy and Soos and Candy and Grenda and even Gruncle Stan turned out to be a great guy. Even if his people skills are terrible sometimes.
Ever since coming to Gravity Falls, our lives have been full of shocking twists, exciting findings, horrifying creatures, psychotic kids obsessed with my sister, and fun times. The summer that I've spent with Stan has been priceless, and I think I speak for both me and my sister when I say that I wouldn't ever give it up for the world. Even IF it meant not having to deal with that freakshow Gideon.
Seriously, the first time we met that guy, he would not leave Mabel alone and he kept guilt-tripping her to keep her from dumping him. When I told the guy that Mabel didn't want to date the guy, he went all psychic psycho on me before Mabel came in and dumped him in person. After that he kept trying to steal the deed to the Mystery Shack, Gruncle Stan's home/business. Then we had to battle some whacko triangle guy and...wait, am I getting off track?
Okay...where was I? Oh yeah, we wouldn't give that summer up. It's been five years, and I'm just about to go back there and see everyone again. (Wendy! P.S. Dipper's a love duck!)

“Uuuurg, Mabel, what have I told you about writing all over my journal?” Dipper groaned. Mabel giggled as she packed her things.
“Relax, bro! It's not like anyone's going to read it anyways. I mean, come on, you weren't planning on making a novel or whatever, were you?” Dipper shrugged his shoulders, averted his gaze, and “eeeehhhh'd” at the same time. “Wait, are you serious? You were going to write a book? About our summer?”
“Just don't tell anyone in Gravity Falls when we get there, okay? All I've got is this journal-y draft thing and I don't want anyone reading it, okay?”
“The only person you're worried about reading this thing is Wendy, right?”
“I told you already that I'm over her,” Dipper replied with conviction. “Now, come on, let's get going.” He tucked the book into his vest as he and Mabel prepared to revisit Gravity Falls.
